Wednesday - Residential Home Services
For those who are not mobile and cannot attend the Sunday service, a service is held once a month at Pytchley Court Care Home.
The residents get a special service given by a small dedicated team of caring church members.
Wednesdays - Pensioners' Lunch
A lunch for around 30 pensioners is prepared and served in the Olive Branch at 12:15pm. This is a very popular event with limited numbers, please contact the Olive Branch for further details and availability. (Tel: 01604 889030)
A short message and Grace is said before the meal begins.
Remembrance Day
On Remembrance Day we all meet at the Community Centre and march in procession together with the Scouts, Beavers, Cubs, Royal British Legion and other organisations to All Saints' Church.
This is in honour of the brave men and women of our armed forces who have fallen in the various conflicts around the world.
At All Saints' Church, there is a combined service between our Pastor and the Vicar of All Saints and then afterwards a ceremony of laying wreaths of poppies and small crosses is held at the War Memorial in the churchyard.
Food Share
The church organises the collating and distributing of food provisions for those who need it during school holidays.
Uniform Swap
Near the end of the school year parents are given an opportunity to swap uniforms from different schools as children move on.
